In 1908 an exhibition was held to celebrate the signing of the Entente Cordiale in 1904 (a treaty to boost Anglo-French relations).
 
This cup and saucer is from there, and looking great for being 113 years old! It's red and white with a tidy golden guild. It's lasted a lot longer than the exhibition ground around Shephard's Bush) which is long gone!
