A dark, almost black, wooden trunk with metal corners and a lock (unfortunately without a key) and carrying handles. Would be a good end table with some storage capacity
 
This case measures (external):

H:   35cm
 
It was formerly used to house tools and shows its use on the interior, but is a solid box.
 
It's previously had some woodworm in its life, although that's long gone now (I've had it for about 2 months and kept an eye on it). This has been treated for woodworm in the time I've owned it.
 
The label and the lining to me scream victorian, but I'm struggling to place a time on this one.
